Michael works with affluent individuals, families, and business owners to help them find creative solutions to the complex financial issues involved in building and protecting their assets and maintaining and transferring their wealth. Michael is able to deliver a unique caliber of excellence because he is open minded, independent, and conducts himself with the highest level of integrity.

 

Michael has a tenacious work ethic and is devoted to growing himself to better serve others. This started with the work-study program at Northeastern University, where Michael graduated in 1990 from with a major in marketing and minor in writing. Following graduation, Michael traveled to Sydney Australia to play a season of division 1 Rugby with the Gordon Highlanders.  One year later Michael began his career in financial services, while attending law school at night. In 1995 he received his law degree from Quinnipiac College School of Law and was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 1996. In 2001 Michael became an investment advisor representative. In 2005 Michael started the rigorous process of self study towards obtaining the Certified Financial Planner™ designation one of the industry’s most respected certification and in 2009 Michael achieved his goal. In 2013 Michael became an adjunct professor teaching insurance in the Certified Financial Planner™ program at the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University.

 

With his background as a lawyer and a certified financial planner, combined with 25 years of insurance experience, he is in a unique position to combine cutting edge strategic tax sensitive solutions with best of breed insurance solutions. Michael’s areas of concentration are:

Michael lives with his wife, Laurie and their three children, Zachary, Jacob and Rebecca in Weston, Connecticut. He is a member of Connecticut Bar Association and the Financial Planning Association.  In addition to his passions for yoga, golf and gardening, he is very involved in his children’s lives, which keeps him active when he is not working with clients.
